Hi Jon,

112 is high for road use.

115 is a heat soak temp.

What set up do you have ?

With a stock rad / IC you should stay under 98 ..... what temp is your PFC set at to cut the fans in ?

I am pretty certain my external Rev meter is plumbed in to my PFC.

Iv got a alloy rad, V mount system with intercooler.

Fan kicks in at 86oC:D

Ok, well other owners with a good set up like that are running temps consistently in the 80\'s.

You might want to raise your fan cut in temps as they will be running constantly and their life span will be shortened.

Mine were set to 92 so on the road temps are usually about 87 -89 sometimes they go up to 92 then fans on reduce to 86 and so on and so forth.

Anyway, that is all a bit irrelevant as you shouldn\'t be running anything like those temps on the road with varied driving modes.

With a v-mount I would guess there is something else wrong. There is coolant in the radiator, right? :rollin  Your water temps should basically never get as high as 100 let alone over 110 (apart from when you first switch on). Check the airflow into the V, check the coolant levels and radiator condition (could flush it)

Did the temperature you are talking about happen as you were driving or just after getting back in the car after, say, filling up with petrol. If it is the latter you have nothing to worry about as the heat soak will always produce high temperatures, just make sure you let the temperature come back down before you cane it.

Right, Flushed it out and it was water in there im sure, (Iv Just got the car ok!) Iv changed it with some super secret coolant and its a gooden haven\'t seen it go over 86 yet. When it over heated before it was on tick over cool down from a long journey and had been sitting there in idle for like 5mins then boiled over!!
