OK... question is simple really. Heard alot about Knightsports and BNR uprated/upgraded/high flow performance twin turbocharger packs suitable for my 1993 RX7 FD.

But... where can I actually get them from? How much would I be looking at new? Second hand?

Are there any other companies out there apart from Knightsports and BNR worldwide that can supply them?

Finally... are there any UK companies that will take a second hand set of stock OE turbochargers and high flow them/upgrade them/uprate them to a Stage 3 spec?

Thanks all.

Knightsports offers the best one on the market RF420. They uprated the compressor housings and turbine blades. Then balanced in house using their balancing machine. So its a pretty much of the shelf stuff that you can just bolt it on when you got it.

if i decide to do another rex i`ll be going down this route.
if i had 8 hour to cut down a tree. i`d spend 6 sharpening the axe

what difference do they make? what power gains do you get over standard? can you eliminate much of that soddin rats nest with them? lol

Draco

that wouild depend if you go non seqential or not

chrisJDM

what difference would it make over stock twins if u did or didnt go non sequential??

Rixio

I think its kinda useless to go uprated twins and then go non sequential but hey ho thats just me...

I agree, but then saying that John Hudson got some really good figures and went non sequential, so it worked out a cheap and very easy way of getting small single turbo power figures.

I have had large and small singles on several cars and now gone back to a set of high flow sequent twins with the right mods on my FD, 300 atw\'s on 0.9 bar and the best bit is its nice and quiet and no drone  !!!  Its so much better on the track!
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

When i went to super 7 autos, they said they can improve your standard turbos, I\'m guess with porting kinda work

But at the cost of uprated twins your still talking single money when done propperly...it will be good to see my BNR\'s (seq) compare with the KS twins (non s/q)

John_Hudson

what power are you getting from the BNR\'s
