One of the many jobs I had done by the specialist this time round was to have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge fitted - as everyone knows that the standard gauge is both unreliable and inaccurate.

I\'m just after the heads up really on how to interpret the oil pressure readings. What are the optimum pressures meant to be at idling, normal driving and WOT?

What readings would indicate a low oil level? Or other problems?

Any feedback or heads up in this area would be appreciated.

I tend to be getting around 40-60 PSI at idle. 60-100 PSI normal driving. 100+ PSI at WOT.

Thanks all.
Kyle.
