Interesting 1st post, bit random lol... Why are you wanting to put one in a 7 anyway?

i\'ve had a Mini moto in mine but it was tight :)

I doubt you could get a mountain bike in one.

Time for a creative bike rack (air brake)

I\'d like to know this too, if anyone has done it

Surely if you were prepared to remove both wheels it\'s easily done.

I once put my 19" MTB in my T2 vert (roof up) but it took me the best part of half an hour and it was only just drivable. I think it properly could be done if you take the rear divider/seat back out but it would be tight the frame assembly is bigger than it looks because of the bars/ Cranks etc

I think i would prefer to get a bike rack that fixes to the boot, or some roofracks that hold a bike. Do a title only search for "roof rack", it was mentioned on here a few months ago with pics of one fitted

Think i\'d go for a tow bar, if it was that essential, got one on my scorpio, and a cycle carrier that clamps on to the ball,

Yup. I do Triathlons and have fitted my road bike with aero bars in my FD. Not comfortably mind, but it does fit on the back seat. Remember to put a sheet down so you don\'t get oil and grease on your seats.

As stated before, both wheels need to come off. Make sure the cranks are horizontal. Turn the handlebars so that if the wheel was fitted it would face to the windscreen.

It may need a bit of pushing but it will go in. You may also need to move the driving seat forward to make it fit. The rear deraillieur may also need to be moved to get your seatbelt on.

The wheels can either be put behind the bike frame or in the boot.

I\'ve tried tons of ways to fit a bike in the FD (putting the seats down etc) and this is the only way it will work.

Oh well I ask because I bought one this evening (rx7 that is, I already have a bike). The car is booked in to have an alarm fitted tomorrow. The garage is about 2 miles from my work. The garage opens at 830am and I have a meeting at work at 9am. Therefore I have to cover 2 miles in less than 30 minutes.

So if the bike were to fit in the car I could get an alarm fitted and make my meeting...

Yes i could probably run 2 miles in 30 minutes but I don\'t want to turn up to the meeting looking like i have just been for a 2 mile run.
