Surfboards and Bikes

Hi guys,

Just bought my first RX8 and am totally excited about it.  But I spoke to mazda about roof racks for my surfboards and mountain bikes, and they say there is nothing - halfords say the same!

Does anyone know of a company that make em, or if another models racks fit the car without doing damage - I don\'t mind having to make some mods to the racks if I have to, but I would really like to be able to transport my boards and bikes around - otherwise will have to buy a cheap transit or something.

I am surprised, as you CAN get racks for the FD RX-7.

Should have bought an Old Schooler cos surfboards and roof racks come as a standard fitting,.....and the rolly\'s :Thumbsup! :Laugh

Welcome aboard Sadly I dont believe there are any roof racks for the RX8. There might be in the future but as yet they seem to be hens teeth:( But take heart. Man has been to the moon and back, so i\'m sure making a roof rack for the rx8 is firmly within the realms of possiability
