The other week, my digital readings went out.
Is this gonna mean new clocks are needed, or could it be something I can fix?

Thanks :o

Anyone have any ideas? :(
Kinda hoping I can have a look at this today before I\'m back at work tomorrow.

Have you checked everything is plugged in properly behind the dials, could be something as simple as that.

This happened to me... All the gauges stopped working altogether and i got a second hand set from Eddy Doyle and on the way home i had an argument with a mate as he was sayin the mileage is gonna show whatever was on the car it came off and i said no it will have my milage!

I was wrong anyway  Mine had 70k Kms on it and after i put the new clocks in it read 180k + Kms... So be careful if u get new clocks!!

Gonna have a look behind the dials in a bit. Need to wire in my tacho anyway, so gotta pull them out for that anyway. My Rev counter needle also seems to bounce about a bit. So I guess (hope lol) it\'s just loose connections.

Just hand the same problem on my FD - started it after it had been sitting for a few weeks and it was a bit sluggish tunring over but it started o.k. then I noticed the odometer had gone out... in fact there are lights on but the readings are all scrambled. Did you manage to fix this problem with your or did you need new dials?

they suffer from dry joints on the clocks and check the earth to the clocks.
