hullo!

need to wire my dvd player into the car... i have a copy of the wirign diagrams for both with and without bose stereo... not sure which one i need to go by, as there is no bose equipment in the car.

it is a uk spec.

can someone tell me what each wire does and the colour? (cant seem to follow the diagrams too good!)

I\'ll try and remember to post a diagram I made of the stock connectors when I get home. The only thing wrong is the dimming....if you need your stereo to dim when the lights are on you need to take a feed from say the bulb in the glove compartment as there isn\'t a suitable wire on the standard harness. I wired ISO connectors to replace the stock connector on mine.

thats not going to happen, as its a flip up dvd player thing.. cant really dim that ;)

Well here\'s what I worked out :)

Also, if you get an ISO harness to  hack around this may help:

Montego Blue 94 R2 FD3S... Bling not included.

nice one people! thanks very much!

i do have an iso harness to hack into also ;)

ever find out what the connector is on the top right probedb?

Nah. I think I pulled the colours of the wires from either the service manual or from somewhere on rx7club.com so there might be bits on there :)

Ignore the illumination pin as that\'s for the dimmer which may or may not be of use.

Some are quite good...had one in my Probe and was fine but I didn\'t buy it so no idea what sort it was.
