turbo gone?

how can you tell if your turbo has gone? got a gen3 rx7 but not getting much boost from the first turbo. driving me mad lol

Normally loads of smoke.
Its more likely a small problem with the turbo control system.

yeah check your boost pipes if the turbo has gone they will be pitted in oil.
my turbo went but only leaked on the compressor side so it didnt smoke from the exhaust.
