help!!!! i popped open my fuel cap to get some needed petrol, now the \'pin\' is stuck inside the nut and not coming out - so the cap flaps about.. had to close it using some black electrical tape! how do i access the pin to drag it out, and grease it???

Shiuko

Had the same problem in mine. Fixed by pushing the pin with my finger and spraying wd-40. You\'ll have to push the pin a bit more inside spray wd-40, leave it for a moment and repeat untill the pin pops out.

problem is the pin is quite far in :(

Shiuko

I\'d try with the WD-40 anyway, and a small tooth brush to clean the pin hole. It worked for me and was cheap and easy.
Good luck.

will have a go.. how can the unit be removed? i am going to try and remove all the interior anyway and give it a good going over..
