This is what the guy emailed me:

I have plenty in stock and ready to ship. If other people on the forum are interested, here\'s the page to directly order them -

As far as where they go, here\'s the VERY handy vacuum diagram -

That shows the locations of the 4 check valves. The aluminum check valve is in the orange line in the diagram, and typically does not need to be replaced.

Also, if you need help removing the upper intake manifold, here\'s my writeup on how to do it -

So THIS is the thread! :)  I\'ve been wondering why check valve orders to the UK went through the roof this weekend!

I was really pleased to find a source for quality check valves for the FD about 2-3 years ago.  Mazda wants WAY too much for their check valves that are just going to fail on you again.  I still have the original engineering samples on my car - about 3 years and 40,000 miles on them, they look and work good as new.

I\'ve sold literally HUNDREDS of these, and I won\'t be done until every FD has them :).

If you guys have any questions, please let me know.  I had to order another set from the factory this morning, so I have another batch of 100 check valves on the way, the new batch will be here Wednesday.

Thanks,
Dale

Ah no, I appreciate it!  I\'m glad you guys found about about them - there\'s just not a lot you can put on an FD for $20 that works perfectly, lasts a long time, is better and cheaper than stock, and fixes problems.  It\'s one heckuva bargain :).

I also had to go pick up more mailing envelopes today :).

While we\'re on the topic, I don\'t know if you guys have seen the Fighters Garage FD parts -

http://www.fighters-garage.com/rx7.html

I personally designed the AST and the intake.  Good price, good fit and finish, and works very well.  I\'m very good friends with the owner, Jimmy.  Just want to make sure you guys are aware of the good deals out there :).  It started when I installed a new Pettit AST for a friend - it looked terrible in the engine bay, fit was crap, and it was expensive.  Jimmy and I figured out how to make an AST that fits right, looks good, and works like it should.

Anyhow, enough rambling :).  Thanks you guys!
