What to do after car has been sat for a while?

Now my car has been sat doing nothing for over a month now so just getting ahead of myself & looking for what needs to or would be cunning to do before, during or after getting her back on the road?

Get it nice and warm and take it for a good hard blat.  Steering clear of coppers and crash barriers, kerbs, trees and other hazzards.

Make sure your battery has sufficient charge.

will probably need a new one anyway as it had gone flat after the headlight decided it wanted to keep trying to come up after we tried it once but the wing was stopping it disconnect time...........
