My "new" RX-7 FD

This is my new (to me) FD, took me a couple of years to take the plunge but this is the one!

Bought if from Pete Taylor on here, very nice chap and the car is lovely! :InLove If you were at JAE on the Sunday, you may well have seen it there.

Brief spec is:

• Apexi PFC + Commander, mapped to ~300bhp (was mapped at 287bhp flywheel ready for de-cat, so should be making near enough 300bhp now it has one)
• ARC airbox
• ARC intercooler
• Mazdaspeed ignition amplifier and earthing kit
• De-cat
• Massive catback exhaust (not sure of the make - also came with a 5Zigen one for quieter times!)
• PIAA 18" wheels
• HKS Hipermax II coilovers

I think you can see the rest of the mods in the pictures, like the RX-8 foglight, bodykit, interior panels etc. What probably isn\'t clear is all the love and attention Pete put into doing the work on the car. The paintjob is a black base with blue flip, but it\'s bloody hard to capture on camera! :rolleyes:

Loving it at the moment, all good so far - these things are sensitive though so doing my best to look after it! :yes

Only once a year you can do the airfield thing whenever, gonna be loads of people off here and FDUK there so best chance to meet most of us guys on the forum

Also love the choice of car you got in the end, very well maintained car as you\'ve gathered so deffo a great buy :god

Yeah, I think it\'ll be RS4 for me, I want to spend a little more time fettling the car before any track-related activities (maybe an uprated radiator, plus need to get a second set of wheels). Wiltshire is also a bloody long way for me!

Nice car mate..... one thing though: think you\'ll find the 5Zigen system will be just as loud, if not louder!!! I think I can almost shatter windows with mine!!

Don\'t think the mic will tolerate yours fella.... probably just get a load of brown noise = messy chairs when people watch it !!!
