i got a amp wiring kit which cost bout 70 quid but also got loads of other bits in the kit like a really good battery terminal with holes for other wires.

Thats what I\'m talking about, thanks mate, I assume the 25mm2 one should do the trick.

I dunno thats why I\'m asking, could i get away with 25mm sq its gonna make a huge difference cost wise.

Don\'t think so, maybe just the 35mm one; the length of the run makes a big difference. Maybe some one who has been there done that will chime in, if it was me I\'d go for the 50mm and have done with it. Look on the bright side you only need a couple of foot for the earth.
Just looked it up, 0 awg is 50-53mm sq

Don\'t go too small to save money. Volt Drop will be critical if you go to a boot position and of course with V=IR2 (ohms law) the volt drop shoots up with a lower cable size. Remember its 100\'s of amps you need for a few seconds at the starter.

I would say welding cable would be better as it\'s much more flexible and when your trying to bend it around from the back to the front it will be much easier.

speak to RMD audio. sounds mad but the audio guys have been re - locating batteries way longer than the tuners.
