fc exhaust balance tubes

i have a small area of corosion in the balance tubes, are they critical to the performance of the car

Its  the 27mm tube on the n/s of the car connected to the exhaust system

Thats the split air pipe - it carries the waste co axial air from the air injection system. :yes
