Is a wonderfully sunny Good Friday, and was just wondering if anyone was fixing, servicing, polishing their REX on such a glorious day?:cool

I\'ve just resprayed my washer jets in Graphite grey, they were originally red, but had faded badly and so I decided that they would look good in graphite grey; not having any Vintage Red spray paint also may of had something to do with it:rolleyes: ;)

I\'ve also just replaced the rear pads and have relocated the fog light so that it sits flush with the rear diffuser, covering the great big hole the SVA centre cut into it, in order to fit it in the first place.

Have fun,

Paul:)

All that washing on Friday... shame it rained Saturday. I cleaned my car too :( I shouldn\'t have bothered.

Will be out tomorrow trying to fix this boost problem, probably wont succeed.

I have been playing a little bit.

1, Replaced faulty aerial.
2, Fitted new plug leads.
3, Checked rear brake pads.
4, Typing lessons. ;)

Just have to fit the HKS Twin Power next, along with the old oil and plugs change. :)

ive been fidling a bit, putting some extra ground wires as i have relocated the battery.  Been trying trying to get my profec A boost controller to work but cant seem to manage it.  Stuck at 10 psi at the moment.  I think the solanoid may be broken.  Anybody got one???
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

busy day on Friday,

helped refit the head on a mates Lada after it suffered valve train failure due to the hybrid parts used in the trick cylinder head.

then while trying to work out why another mates XR2 rally car was missing on full load we found the compression down on two cylinders and oil in the water so changed the head gasket.

Quieter day on Saturday

Serviced the 1.3 323 and went to watch the F1 stocks at Skegness

didn\'t do much yesterday but I might go round and jump start the 7 today and give it a run to clear it out.

I fitted a efini \'y\' pipe last weekend, but noticed I was getting high air intake temperatures on the Apexi FC so decide to make a heat shield.
All went well until i decided to check the tightness on the nuts on the y pipe and managed to snap off a stud
Then in anger tossed the socket into tool box, missed and hit nose cone and left lovely deep scratch. Then whilst taking the car out to test drive mods, got pulled by the old bill for pulling of fast at traffic lights and now have to produce !
Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something.

Paul, I used Magnecor 10mm leads. Got them some time ago from DS Engineering, cant remember what they cost. I think WGT also do them for a more local supplier.

Today - fitted sub and amp and sunk my tweeters into the doors.

Also removed half the engine to check vac hoses, need a couple of bits as one of the pipes has a bit of a connector on it that had come apart and another black plastic pipe has a crack.  Bodged for now until i get the parts!

Had great fun messing about in the engine its not as hard as it looks!  Did round off a nut on the strut bracw so i cant undo it now!
