So, anyone know where it is possible to buy one, borrow one, or exchange one for copious amounts of conflict diamonds and hugs?

OJ I have a Mazda one - only set up for 1st and 2nd gens.

If it\'s for your 1st gen and you\'re coming to RS let me know - can see if I can squeeze it in, if you want to test it over the weekend?

I\'ve been amazed at a Mazda and it stuck! ;)

Thanks for that Lynn!  Unfortunately it\'s for an FD, and as a result of needing it, I won\'t be at RS4 anyhow...  Gutted - haven\'t missed one yet.  Oh well!

Sorry OJ was hoping it was the 1st gen!  Sorry I can\'t help. :(

Sorry to hear you can\'t make it to RS - it\'ll be weird you not being there!

Take care

Ah bless!  I\'ve not made a single meet this year...  And now with a car that doesn\'t start, it\'s unlikely I\'ll make any!  Thanks for the thought tho - have a great time!

Hi O J , have a look at this link it may help, and it\'s cheap.

BTW it will be a real shame if a Rotorstock is not graced with your presence especially as it\'s going to be a hot one unlike the cold rainy ones we have hadhttp://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxuk101YYGB%2526i%253D36%252F36%255F1%255F47%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank">http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_1_47.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0">http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D36%252F36_1_47/image.gif">

Thanks Clive - I\'ll get a compression tester and give that a go.  It makes chuffing noises (doesn\'t chuffing start tho *sulk*), but it\'s the numbers I\'m worried about now.

It cut out when I lifted off at 120mph on a road that is not affected by UK speed laws, after I felt it not pull under full throttle.  As it slowed, I dropped the clutch at low speed to try and get it going again, but no joy.

So it\'s going to be compression (boo), spark or fuel.  It\'s not fuel, so this leaves spark or compression.

Yup - 2 rotaries in various states of disarray means I won\'t be there.  Regarding the weather, maybe I\'m a jinx!!!! *grin*  Have a top time everyone!  Look forward to pervy pics, and fabulous stories!
