ha ha. spot on. there are some great ciopper out there.something similar happened to me.

a blue 03 reg civic type s was circling me at 70mph with two big blokes in. i accelerated to 100 to get away and they caught back up and kept circling me( over and undertaking me)
was a long motorway about 3am coming back from a meet. no traffic but this civic. so i said to the missus, \' i\'ll get away from these two\'  dropped it and tore off. civic was behind till 140 and i kept going till about 155 when the civic\'s front end burst into blue lights and sirens !
i pulled over devastated and got out.  the two coppers were laughing at me, i handed over my keys with a smile on my face and said \' got me there, bang to rights\' and started laughing, one of them then offered to buy my rx off me, at a knock down price, as i wouldnt be needing it for a few years.
then the other one tells me to get back in my car and get on my way. i looked at him bemused and \'said i was almost at 160 there \' he said\' i know i just wanted to see it go, these are rotaries arent they ? \' yeah\' i replied. \' always fancied one\' he said. \'off you go at take it easy\' then i made them shake my hand before i drove off in absolute disbelief. i was looking at jail time i think lol

anyway a few days later i spoke to a friend of mine who is a copper and knew about what had happened he told me they let me off because i was cool about it and didnt start raving at them. they said i was the first person that month who they had caught through a traffic violation that had got out and held their hands up with a smile on their face.

Did something very similar a few years ago...

Decided to go up town for a pizza after the pub, (i wasnt drinking- was on antibiotics) with my steaming mate in his 1.5 Civic hatch. Coming home, car joined on from a roundabout and sat about 3inches of my arse. They had full beam on so i couldn\'t see sh!t do i booted it away to get out the glare. (After my ****ed mate turned round and gave them the finger!). Anyhoo, got to about 90 on a dual carriageway and looked up to see them way behind me. Looked up again \'bout 2secs later and all i could see was blue lights!

Pulled me over, and asked me if it was my car, I said "no, its his" as the other copper opened the passenger door and drunken mate fell clean out! lol

cops were cool tho, just said that we\'d attratracted attention cos we were young, in a nice-looking motor at 3 in the morning! RESULT!!!

no - this cant be true. where do ya live? think i might have to move there. round here people get section 59s and their cars confiscated for having window tints!
