Defi Help Please!!!!!!

Had the car out today and noticed that I am having problems with my Defi Oil Pressure Gauge..............

1. On tick over it sits at about 1bar of pressure, reset the warning buzzer to suit this.
2. Under acceleration it sits at 2bar and hops between 2 and 4 bar of pressure
3. On sunday the pressure would read as high as 6bar depending on rpm.......

My dashboard gauge reads as normal, but don\'t really do much, although it is rising under acceleration.

Not sure if the pressure sensor may be playing up, or if it much more serious...........please help........!!!!!!!
