Newbie question at stupid o\'clock!!

I have a pocket towards the back of the door after the door release and it looks like there should be a cover or something to go over it but i do not have one....

Is this normal or do they have a lid to them? anyone got any pics of theirs?

If i am missing something anyone got any ideas of where to get one? as i tried searching here and on google and had no luck, hence me thinking im looking for something that does not exist.

Thanks

yep, should have a small plastic lid, but its just in the right place to rest your elbow on it, which is why it snaps...

There a bit like rocking horse poo  :)

just outta interest where did you manage to get it in the end?

Like its been said above its exactly where my elbow rests and its not nice having it stuck in a hole, i had 2 red marks on my elbow where i\'d been resting it and driving for a while...

anyone done anything different if they dont have one in place? made their own? found an alternative that fits?

Alison

Mine had one when I bought it....so now I\'m going to be careful not to break it!!

Bloomin heck, didnt realise they were so rare!  They must rank alongside centre console arm rest cushions, parcel shelfs and battery box tops!!!

Pleased mine had one on import :)

You might want to think about reinforcing it.... maybe stick a metal plate to the underside of it..

It really doesn\'t take much to crack it..  :(

D1 WTF

as said there are a few bit on FD\'s that are very sort after.  and i think the drivers door cubby hole complete with lid is prob the highest on the list.

i bought one that came up for sale.  (they make very good money).
i then put some quite thick fibreglass matt on the inside so there is no way of it cracking etc
