vac line

I ordered some 4 mm internal bore silicone pipe with 3mm wall width..  or so i thought i actually got the 3mm IB by mistake, can this be used still as non-seq vac line still or did i throw away abit of moneys?

i used 3mm, has been on the car for a year now with no probs.

I thought 4mm was a tight fit on some bits in the engine bay. I would assume 3mm would be a bit small?

i heated it up with my lasses hairdryer, never had any pop off, was a tight fit on some of them.
