As long as its a proper replica- IE - its got a 4-rotor engine in it.

I hope we can find out if they\'re going to drive it, or at least start it up !

Hi All,

We have a new anniversary picture as a front page but there are two versions !,

One is the full MRC Rotary anniversary version and the other the 1967 Cosmo version, if anyone would like a full size copy of either to use as a desktop of just to view properly.

Please mail me and I will send a copy clive@mazdarotaryclub.com

I have a little more Goodwood news,

The 787B in attendance will be the car that normally resides in the Le Mans museum and will sadly only be a static display.

I know that some of you will be going Friday and Lisa and myself will hopefully see you there, obviously we will only be there on the Friday because of the clubs attendance at the Jap Show at Santa Pod  :WaveBye

The forthcoming  RX-8 40th Anniversary model was shown for the first time at Goodwood which will be a "White" model edition and will feature (as shown) a special white interior including a white gear knob and changes to the steering wheel, the car will also feature special rotary anniversary badges on the front fenders and the rear panel.

Also show at Mazda\'s Goodwood Rotary celebration stand along with the 40th Anniversary RX-8 was a 787B on loan from the Le Mans museum a 1967 Cosmo and a rare U/K spec 3rd Generation RX-7, with both these cars being supplied by Mazdarotaryclub to Mazda for the occasion.

Away from the Mazda stand in the pits was a 757 that was "competing" along with other group C cars from many other manufactures, also one of the 2 RX-8 Kuros attending was also demonstrating "up the hill".

Away from the Mazda stand in the Concurs section of the event was another pristine "as new" 1967 Cosmo that was provided by a Mazda dealer who owns the car from Cyprus.

went yesterday ... crikey was it wet! Great day thought. Although Mazda had the 787B under a tarp all day :Grrr which is bloomin annoying as there were much rarer/special cars running up the hill all day in the same rain and it was the one car I really really wanted to see.

Oh well damp but happy the rest of it more than made up for it!
