hiya,

Ive got Mintex pads on the front of my standard FD, but they seem to be coating my wheels in a lot of brake dust. Starting to get very annoying to be honest as im constantly having to clean my wheels lol.

Just wondering if anyone has the Red Stuff pads, if so what are they like for brake dust and of course stopping power and brake fade? (the mintex are poor for brake fade, when driving and braking hard they give in relatively quickly)

can anybody recommend any other brake pads which I should try?

cheers

Red stuff are just as bad and corrosive if the dust is left on there :(

hmm, how long do they take to heat up? I know the yellow stuff pads take an age, but arnt they meant for track use?

I think the red stuff are meant for fast road use arnt they? so surely cant take that long to heat up?

mintex extreme pads mate, cant reccomend them enough!

designed to creat very little dust and just great pads.

red stuff - i would definately not reccomend quality control is an issue so steer clear in my opinion.

can comment otherwise as i have stuck with mintex extreme and found them great.

if you want a set i can get you the lowest price too but either way i always reccomend.

im not sure which mintex pads I have at the moment, I know they are "performance" pads, but I dont think they are the extreme pads?

what sort of price can you get the extreme pads for including delivery?
