MOT is due and want the car to have a good decent service and a few other things to be checked over. These aren\'t big thing just a few gremlins.
Have had the car about half year have learnt a lot (thanks to this web site) but wouldn\'t mine a generally walk round the car with a few more things explained.

I know both have a great history through this site but as I live bang in the middle of the two (with a difference of 5mins) was wondering if any one knows if they do MOT\'s.

I’m torn as have never been to either, I was hoping to have a power fc by now and was going to take it to WGT to get it mapped at the same time, but as I haven’t am thinking about getting a racing beat pipe and back box and have heard that Rotechniks are the uk suppliers of racing beat.

Any help or advice on which place I should go would be a great help, as said have heard great things about both, just want peoples opinions.

RoTechniks can/do supply Racing Beat parts - not sure if they\'re the importer or not. They also do MOTs but I believe they\'re "outsourced" inasmuch as they will take your car to their usual testing station.

Hayward Rotary is near Newbury, excellent, friendly service and MOT Test centre right next door, plus you get a free cup of tea!

Do they?  I know they didnt at their old premises. And unless I missed it I didnt see an MOT bay at their new premises?   Mind you to be honest I was looking at their fixtures and fittings   :P

Can really recommend WGT, I wouldnt take my car anywhere else unless I had to

Every place is about 1 and half hours away, im thinking about dropping it off on a saturday and leaving it with them for a week and picking it up the next saturday.

Do the three places mentioned have decent parking and any more advice or experiences with these would be of a great help.

That\'s usually what I do when I send one of my RX-7s to RoTechniks for some work (unless it\'s really just an oil change). Leaving it there isn\'t a problem, I believe that they\'re putting them into the workshop overnight anyway so they\'re not left outside.

Back to your original question - both will do you proud mate. Try them both, get your RB stuff from Rotechniks (yes, they are uk distributers for RB) and take it to see Pip when you get an Apexi...

David and Pip are both very knowledgable people who\'ve probably worked on more Rotaries than some people have had hot dinners :Thumbs-up
