ok lads came across some cosmo twin turbos for sale cheap in the states off a 1997 are these larger than the 1993 fd turbos and can they handel more boost if so is it possible to swap the fd turbos with the cosmos

A few problems to negotiate if you want to fit these, 1st and foremost afair no Cosmo was made that late so question that, you need to establish if they were off a 20b or a 13b, 13b\'s fit but you need the cosmo lim for a propper fit. The 2nd turbo on the 13b is larger so you will flow more, as for boost I doubt if you will flow more than 1.0 - 1.1bar before you produce to much heat that they will become inefficient. These turbos were fitted to an engine with large secondary ports, so, unless you do the same you will struggle to see any significant gains. hth
