Ok, I have some suspension to go on the FC, its a full set of coil overs that are hight and damper adjustable, they also have the adjustable plates on the top.  My question is how do I set these top mount things - should I just fit it to the car and adjust it from there, or should I be doing some preliminary adjustment before it all goes on?

Thanks in advance! :wave

Are these the adjustable camber plates for the front strut towers ?

As low as possible without hitting the wing :P

Just like mine :D

Any reason why I can\'t replace the top mounts of the front suspension with a standard top plate?  Would make fitting much easier...... :)

fit them! even my 1970\'s 323 has adjustable strut tops on it LoL ;)

measure the distance from an inner wing reference to the centre of the standard strut. Then fit the adjustable stuff and set it to match. would probably help to measure the distance across the two strut tops as well. then take it and have it set up with a laser wheel alignment setup. No idea what camber you want to be dialing in, probably standard is a good starting point if it\'s been lowered. Road tyres don\'t like too much negative camber.

or sell the plates to me and I will fit them on my 1st gen when I get it back :)

definately fit them, as mike says, set them to stock at the moment, when you lower it will need more camber to compensate. Once you have fitted them, level the car, if you know someone with a big garage or workshop, you can use the floor to level the car as doing it on the roa isnt very accurate, then get the car 4 wheel aligned. It makes a huge difference

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!
