I\'ve kept a pretty decent single din stereo out of my old car and wish to fit it in the RX.. i bought a din blanking facia and it is POO!!...

anyone recommend a decent blanking facia that actually fits? bar breaking out the MDF or hardboard..

Plywood :)

Alternatively, "blank" out the unused DIN slot with some gauges like the Defi DIN gauges?

i am planning to put a boost gauge in the unused space :) i think i will resort to making my own.... DIY seems to be the way with the RX!

It would be nice to be able to walk into a shop and be spoilt for choice though eh!!
Cheers

Until I get some dials to fit this gap instead, I got a single din cubby hole from mazda, it was about £30 but its the proper rx-7 one and clips in like a stereo unlike the Autopart ones.
