LOL Guys!!  Not replied as i\'ve been on my stag doo this weekend..  I\'m glad i\'m not the only one.. the does sound like it came straight off a zx sinclair spectrum or sonic the hedgehog on E.  i might just shorten the hose i took off, and fit another breather to it.. should do the job
