I have received my boost controller (Greddy Profect B Spec II). I need to install the solenoid somewhere into the engine bay, but don\'t know of a good place to put it.

Has anyone got any pictures of theirs installed, preferably single turbo applications. I don\'t know where to put mine! :xconfused

It\'s not a single but I placed mine under the air filters as there are screw holes going spare and it\'s close-ish to the wastegate.  If I didn\'t have an oil catch tank I would have placed it in the top left of the engine bay but the catch tank took up that spot.

Any pictures?

yes ... yes i do ... don\'t know if this is the same with the greddy one but HKS say not to mount the solinoid upside down as it can effect boost control... i had to turn mine around because it was mounted upside down....

mount it away from heat as much as poss and yes with middle vent facing downwards to stop water and dirt ingress...mine was mounted before i got the car by a tuner right next to the turbo and with vent facing upwards:(

Yea, thats where mine is mounted too :-) just make sure you surround it with the rubber washers to insulate it from the earth coming from the engine!! lol

what are the implications of this if there is contact with bodywork? As I just checked mine, and there was contact. So I have now corrected this, but was curious to know what issues it may have caused?
