A Few Noobie questions

Just bought my first RX-7 FD3 **bounce bounce** in a moment of madness on ebay



Will be delivered in the next 2 weeks

It needs a little work, now im quite handy with a spanner but ive been told it needs the APEXI ECU setting up as its running too rich at the lower revs

Is there anyone on here that is fairly local to chelmsford essex who is prepared to pop over and give it a quick once over for me and maybe adjust the ecu before I drive it to get it setup properly (can offer a bottomless mug of tea and hobnobs maybe even stretch to the odd bacon sarnie)

Also can anyone recommend someone close to me who can setup the ecu properly on a rolling road?

Im having the car transported from its current owner to me as I dont fancy taking a chance while its overfuelling.

Im planning to add a few more mods and have been looking at changing the manifold for one of these:-

Has anyone used one and are they worth the change? and is it hard to fit? I would obviously be fitting this before I get the ECU setup.

Also Im seeing on here the great "to dump or not to dump" debate personally I detest the sound they make (I maybe from essex but im not an average essex boy) and as Im not planning on running ludicrous boost or changing the turbos can I get away with removing the HKS one fitted to my car?

Current mods on my car are:-
HKS DUMPVALVE AND PIPE WORK (want to dump this)
TWIN HKS AIR FILTERS(LIKE NEW)
BLITS FULLY ADJUSTABLE EXHAUST SYSTEM
APEXIE ECU

I have no plans to decat, or go silly boost or anything

Any Input would be great

if you take the hks dump valve off can i have 1st dibs on it please.

That manifold is for single turbo conversion not twins, so wont fit your car.
As for mapping, you can go to JayDee

Ah I thought that manifold didnt look quite right and the seller said it was for a std FD3 with normal turbo setup

And yes soon as I got the car here ill be ripping the Dump valve off (well carefully removing it) and so u can have first dibs
