Dump Valve.. Where is it..!?!

I\'ve looked and looked and just cannot find it..
Was sure I had a Blitz DV, but since coming back from the garage it was at, I cant find it !!
Its got the sound, unless it Wastegate chatter?!

Hope we still have not got your dump valve!
It maybe that we put a stock one on to do an elimination of your probs and forgot to replace the Blitz one.

Have you rebuilt your engine or put another one in now since you are selling on ebay?

Carl, its been to another garage since you where they replaced rotor seals I think he said? But it still seems to be overfueling, ie: still runs quite rich, can smell it from the emissions especially.
I\'ve tried a mates remapped apexi on it, but it didnt do alot really. Think it may need a proper mapping session now! Shame I\'ve sold my Apexi!!

I did definitely think it had an aftermarket DV on it, as I looked at it when I got the car and it says on the spec sheet I got from previous owner about it having a Blitz DV.

Could you check it out for me please, as the mechanic who did recent work on it assures me he didn\'t need to go near it!

Hi Alex,
If you have had the engine rebuilt (Tips replaced) then the mechanic would have had to do more than go near it,he would have had to take it off completely.He would have had to take the engine out,and that involves a complete strip down.
Who did the rebuild?
Have looked for the dump valve and we don\'t have it here.

It was done by a friend of my mothers mechanic who is ex Mazda.
He says there was no aftermarket DV on there when it came into him.
So surely if you fitted a std one back on it, then it must be with you?!

Standard valve makes a lot of noise with an air cleaner like that.

Yes I definitely remember it having one. This is why I was looking and looking for it, as I knew i\'d seen it!

Mine is near the intake.

Its hard for this to go missing. unless its mounted underneath somehow.
