Hello All,

can anyone help me with this one please. I had a flat battery on my RX-7 FD, removed it and recharged it. Replaced, she started up fine. Left overnight and had another flat one. Did the same, same with the charger and still going down. I left the battery disconnected, it held it\'s voltage, but on connecting up again, pulls about 2 amps constantly. Dunno where it\'s going. Does it have something to do with the alarm/immobiliser or something else?
Can ya give me some pointers please?

Thanks.

2A is quite a lot for an alarm!! Have you fitted any new electronics recently?

k.j

Hello Dhracer, thanks for the quick reply. Nope, have fitted nothing recently. I posted a thread in the electrical section about having flooded her, but as yet have\'nt received any feedback from you guys.

I can\'t think of anything that would drain 2A when off, I think the only thing to do would be to go through all the fuses and narrow down what is causing the drain that way, will be bloody tedious though!

Yeah, kinda figured that. Ah well, could always get an auto electrician out huh? Naaa, \'aint got the dosh to give them.
Thanks for the help anyway Dh.

Yeah, it will be bloody tedious.....................

Hey Fish,

yep, I was thinking that too. I think I cracked the case on the EGI relay removing it after flooding her. Maybe I disturbed something on the pos side getting the bloody battery out. I\'ll scope it out. Thanks man.
