Re-A Rear Diffuser Mk1 replica GB?

I remember a month or two back there was a group buy for the re-a mk1 replica rear diffuser on here, think they were offered in carbon fibre too, not too pricey, but i cannot seem to see this group buy anywhere on the forum anymore, i remember reading that he made them to order and would continue to do so, any pointers anybody??

A few of the vendors got the @rse about it as it was under cutting them - so they complained and all the threads got removed  :reallymad

Anyway, the group buy went over to FDUK where we are allowed to make stuff for each other.  Unfortuntely this particular group buy has no finished and I dont believe Dave is intending to make anymore.

Best bet is to keep an eye out for stuff like this on RX7 Club and FDUK, particularly the former as there are loads of people making stuff  over there - thats the only issue, its based in the States but plently of people have ordered stuff of those guys AFAIK

i think shine is looking to make a copy of these, there is talk of it on rx7 club. Its a shame we cant get a supply of them over here as i am sure they would sell!

Well sounds like someone was making copies of them over here, but he forgot to add the extortionate overhead to it so people actually wanted them, apprently we cant buy things on here anymore unless theres a massive profit for the seller involved :rollin

Someone here reported that group buy to RE-Amemiya, that\'s what stopped the whole thing I think.

No that wasnt the reason the production of these stopped.  Dave wanted to limit the run to a set number so there was a certain amount of uniqueness with owning one.  It was never about making profit..

Get in touch with Ken at shine. He\'s happy to do bulk buys with us over here....we just spent $5500 with them

It was dave that was making them and he limited the number to make them slightly unique as a few of us that had them reqested.
