I would like to know exactly how you accelerate in your car.

Generally speaking I lightly pump the accerlation peddle and as soon as it hits the 3k rev mark change up a gear.

How do you guys do it?

rmagictastic

eeehhh???  i floor it and when it beeps at me at around 7500 i change gear???

or have i mis-understood??

Getting old... Its not like it was in my day!

Nope I think you got the point but I didn\'t think the turbo worked as well if you put the pedal to the metal!

Im lost, if you change gear from say 2nd to 3rd at 3000rpm, your turbo will never be working

Well, it will, but not to it\'s fullest capacity. Nowhere near

on a private road, when the rotors are bouncing against the housings i change gear, but normaly redline it if poss.
Lead me not into temptation, I can find it myself...
But i can always do with some help now due to, my advancing years!

hmm that\'s interesting....everything seems to kick in at 3K...but maybe it doesn\'t...maybe its just the preparation to the ultra-kick in that i\'ve been missing!

It\'ll be barely in, it will start at approx 2500 and your missing all the fun

All depends on the setup your running.

I blip the throttle a couple of times before driving away, just to get that turbo spinning a bit. ;)
