it was an optional extra/or you got it on a certain model? my mates RB has them... - doesnt look too pretty but works well...

Full Bose audio system, fitted to some type X models, and is fatnastic,

This is the Bose sound system that came fitted in most type X models and later RB\'s.  I had one in my last FD and the speakers were blown.  

I advertised it for sale on here at the time and no one wanted it so went in the bin!  Not worth much money IMHO.  You are much better off buying uprated speakers if you want decent sounds.  Plus it takes up quiet a lot of the boot!

Well i\'ll keep mine original i think, iv\'e noticed things that don\'t work don\'t sell well and they are not worth much if the speakers are blown, well pleased with mine, shame to scrap something like that, IMHO,

That T51R car is Type X model, which is why it has the sunroof, climate control. Condition is somewhat poor imho.

The BOSE system back when the type x was released was awesome, but over the years most have developed problems.

The biggest problem with the Bose (good system) is that the amps are fitted to the speakers where most modern tuners have the amps built in. Dont know how you get round updating the system
