OK, this may sound strange...

Does anybody have a picture of the side of a vert that shows how high the stonechip paint goes on on the side?

Mine\'s had new stonechip applied during the last bodyshop episode and that went on too high so I was wondering if anybody either had a picture that shows how high the original application goes or can mark it on a pic that I can pass on to bodyshop no 2?

Yep, it\'s useful although it looks like you\'ve also got stonechip paint on the bottom of the door (which mine didn\'t have).

Doh. I just realised that I took a few photos of the car when I got it - the higher-res originals should still show how high the stonechip went...

don\'t know if you still need the info but the stone chip paint measures 3&3/4inch\'s at the front of the door measured from the bottom of the door up and 3& 1/2 inch\'s and the back of the door. hope this helps, sorry it was a bit slow have been a bit side tracked with my new project [5.3L V12:Hammer ] if you need any more info or pic\'s just shout.

Hi Grant,
thanks for the help. Grinder\'s fairly close to the bodyshop and he\'s kindly agreed to let them have a look at his convertible if the needs arise but it\'s good to get some measurements!

Cheers,
Timo
