A bit more rust than i\'d hoped for (poor photographer warning)

Mahooosive side repeaters!

Vdub scirocco body kit...

A wave of the magic stick and....

Wheel recycled from the fto and new gearknob because the leather had gone all mushy on the originals :x

Stereo located in the glovebox to keep the original push button radio and auto revverse cassette!

Hideous coloured interior pretty much original 8)

Sleepy eye lights 8)

Scirocco arches with exposed screws for that jdm old skool look

This photo is a bit clearer for the arches....the more sharp eyed of you will notice the bumpers have been sunk back into the body too.

The business end....Engine....(not much to see really apart from my home made induction pipe)

And a box of bits of emissions and other assorted crap that have been removed!  :D

Still some more bits and bobs to do like some more cosmetics on the arch extensions and maybe some new front seats because of a nasty tear but that\'s pretty much it

I didn\'t expect that much work but I\'ve enjoyed doing it and it\'s been a great learning curve so far and as taught me a few things too

And i\'m happy to say that it\'s not half as slow as I thought it was too....i got a 7.68 on a g-tech pro the other day![/QUOTE]

How did you wire the sleepy eyes up?
ive had a look at some wiring and the relay is on the left strut (next to the battery) as far as i can see you need to splice the white and red before the relay back into the cabin through a 3 way swith then back to the relay,
i dont really want to be pushing wires through the fire wall, was yours set up diffrently?

thanks

Can\'t believe you quoted all the photos!:Giggle

I wired it up by splicing into the raise/lower valet switch wiring in the cabin.....can\'t remember which off hand,i\'ll check if you like?

yes not sure why it did that!!
if you took the feed from there i can have a look, only checked out the wiring in the manual and under the bonet not pulled any thing apart in the dash yet, should be able to go from there

how it all going? are you going to any shows this year?

thanks
