Hi people, basically i had a nasty engine fire from which i had to change all the loom (engine, sub harness and main body loom). When removing the main loom on the drivers side i had to cut wires to the alarm to pull the burnt loom through. When i cut the wires i cut them in places so i knew where i would put them back on the new loom. Done all this and the car doesnt crank over, lights come on the dash, the alarm seems to be working as it goes off and the red light goes off when i hit the key on the alarm fob. The alarm is a clifford concept 300. Could it be the alarm needs reprogramming or something, i dont have a clue about alarms!!  I thought it was the starter motor at first so i took a live feed from the battery with the ignition in the on position and placed it on the solinoid on the starter motor and it cranked over perfect, and fuel also came through! is it the immobiliser?? Is there anyway of connecting a live feed from somewhere on the ignition barrel to the starter motor so it bypasses the alarm/immobiliser?

Sorry about the long thread, any shed of light to this would help tremendously.
Im based in Wilmslow near manchester so if any of you know any good auto electricians that could come have a look without burning a hole through my pocket let me know, cheers.

you could wire in a push button starter straight to your motor maybe ? mate of mine with a clio is havin this problem at the min with an alarm issue ! its worked on his but be careful cause it may also cut the fuel out on the imobiliser ???

right guys got my mate to have a look at it today, this is mad, basically i think its is a automatic loom which, the starter motor wire goes into a big blue plug near the ecu, but cant find a spare plug that i may have missed when installing it, could this plug into a auto transmission module or something?
