Pathetic blower?

Trying to sort out all the small niggles on my FD this weekend while I have the time and I was wondering if this is common?  I have searched but couldn\'t find anything.

Basically on setting 1-4 air seems to trickle out the only noticeable difference between 4 and 1 is the amount of fan noise :rollin

The aircon seems to work (well it lights up and the air is a tiny bit colder) but because of the crap airflow I can\'t really tell if it needs re-gassing or not - I assume I need to get R12 compatible stuff if it does need doing though since it\'s a \'92 car :confused:
