newbie fuel question

hi all
just wondered what this V power fuel is you all keep talking about was just browsing some posts and see it mentioned a few times but not sure what it is....
also can u run a 3rd gen rex on normal unleaded? or is it best to use super unleaded or something similar?

V power is shell\'s super unleaded widely regarded as one of the best pump fuels you can get in the UK, and you need to run a 7 on superunleaded, either v-power or tesco\'s 99 ron appear to be fav\'s at the moment.

i found v power excellent on mpg
tesco 99 was crap to say the least.
sainsburys super is quite good too

BP Ultimate isn\'t bad either,but i tend to use V power the most.
