HKS Racing Suction Kit

I have just bought the HKS Racing Suction Kit (same as Clive from //www.mazdarotaryparts.com sells)

The kit is a second hand unit.

My car has an Apexi PFC with a modified map ( boost up by around 5% on both turbos) and a de cat already.

Do I have to map the car after I put this Induction Kit on?  Will the Apexi learn automatically that I have this kit and alter my fueling?

My max boost is 0.94 and max injector duty at 92%...can I lower the boost using the commander to allow more fueling available for the kit?

What do you think?

I can answer two questions:
You cannot lower the boost unless you have the boost controller kit to the power FC, same solenoid as their AVC-R kit..

And no, your car won\'t learn automatically. :/
Injector duty also sounds a bit high.. But that might not be a problem.

Thanks for the input...I thought that since my boost has been raised a little it can also be lowered to the stock levels thus lowering a touch the max injector duty...then the  left over say as an example 15% injector duty could be used to deal with the induction kit...but I guess this is mapping, right ?
I guess it can not be done using the commander?

Mapping is altering the ignition and injector maps to suit your car\'s modifications.. And yes, this is done via the FC-Commander. But you need someone with the knowledge of doing it, and a dyno (Or a good road but I would vote for the dyno) There are numerous threads regarding this, and a name that springs to mind straight away is Pip, Im planning on visiting him all the way from sweden because of all the recommendations he get\'s.
Think he is in the newcastle area so might not be the nearest for you though..

The boost is raised due to your modifications, because more freeflow will allow more air through your system. You need a boost controller to lower the boost.

Thanks for that...

I can go to reworks or to JD in East London...
