registered as a 2.6, can you change it to 1.3?

update!! lol.. was at the dvla registering the starlets, asked the guy there, if its 1300, then its ok to register it as that, i thought it went by emmissions but they dont have all the data to do pre 98 cars on emmissions so i got away with it.. mines a 1.3 lol

Yeah on the V5 itself there is a change of details and this is where you would change the CC. I did this when I first bought mine and it still came back with 2.6 so I called them to complain and they then sent me a new 1 showing 1.3.
Having said this because of the RX8 and so the DVLA are going to be dealing with more rotaries I bet they won\'t not unless at point of SVA.

Quite a few FD owners are trying this now so I expect a letter though the post at some point changing back to 2.6
They get you in the end!!!

They said they are reviewing how (all) rotary engines are classified and that they would not classify mine as a 1.3.
