auto FD not starting

A mates FD has been running,,, on trying to start it it turns but doesnt fire the leads have been changed from magnecors that were bare at the plug end. I put 7s in the leading and 9s in the trailing, there is power cos that ****ted me as we turned over to check and clear excess fuel with plugs out... what else could I have missed???:Hammer  its earthed to death, I cheked all the fitments and lines etc... its doin me ed in
