Rx8 Owners??

Just thinking as i\'ve passed over 10-15 RX8\'s over the past few months, do these owners know what a rx7 is??

Just asking as everytime they look over its a puzzled look i get not sure they realise its the same sort of car?? Half the time you flash/wave and they dont know why??

Just me or does anyone else get this??

Nope we all get it.  I have given up flashing and waving to be blanked and ignored etc.

One day one might flash me, and ill probably crash or something!

I was talking to an rx-8 owner today, he\'s up for going to meets, maybe double figure meets soon:D

i have spoken to a couple of owners around where i stay most of them just look at you funny like you swore at them when you mention the 7:rolleyes:

Maybe it would help if i had it with me, and it wasnt getting rebuilt.

The only conclusion i make is that most of the new rx8\'s are bought by retiring/older folk who buy them as its the "new" thing rather than because its a rotary??

I say this as most of the ones i\'ve flashed were older people - no offence intended;)

An Rx8 pulled up to me at the lights the other week and started chatting to me, he said he really wanted an Rx7 but seeing as he was having a company car he had to settle for an Rx8, at least some people are aware that they are continuing a legacy

:cool There is an 8 meet provisionally on the 18th, typically that is the same day as we are at Crail :rolleyes: then the next one is on the evening of the longest day (sometime in June) which a few of us are planning on attending.

BTW, you cleared out your PMs yet?
