Carbon door cards

Well at least two months have gone by without any mention so I thought I\'d better bring it up again as its next on my list of what to do!

So McCarthy first raised this question back in October last year because his brother owns a company that could make carbon door cards...


I then raised a thread in January and rotaryart came back with the possibility of selling door cards, wings and goodness knows what else!


Are there any updates or new threads on this?

Hey guys sorry for the hi jack here. The problem was that I\'m a little low on cash right now so cannot afford to get 5/6 sets mad eto make it worth while. A one off mould in carbon with the recent buying of it form Air Bus has rocketed the price.

This is something that i\'m looking to do in the next 2 to three weeks but i need people that will commit. I\'m not sure how they will look, as everyone else seem so concerned, but i have no doubts that they will be top quailty.

Its unlikely that you will retain all the pockets etc as that make the moulds more complex and the price rises again. From memory, and i\'ll check the other thread, the price was around £450 at which point most people said they where not interested.

It seems that I now have two possible options, I still can\'t get the rotaryart link to work but as soon as I do I will be able to make a better decision.

Thanks for the mention of the price as I wasn\'t sure what figure I would be looking at and I\'m sure the quality will be great, however, I\'m only ever going to do this once so I want to get it right first time!

I\'ve sent them an email instead which has got through...can I just clarify that the £450 ball-park figure was for both door cards or just one?

I understand m8.  I picked up the below post from your october thread...as I thought I had better re-read it.  Have you got an image of your door card or the mould?

hey guys i was going to wait till i had pics before re-responding to the thread but hey. .... They have my door cards now but are very busy with other jobs. they are going to try and do the moulds in the nest coulpe of weeks so i will keep you updated in a fortnight or so

...I\'ve actually just sent you an email anyway...I did a massive google search to see if I could find any images on Siebon door cards without any luck whatsoever!

If you put an image on your website m8 - you could be the first ones on the world wide web to do it!

...of course it wouldn\'t help me because I still can\'t view your website which is totally bizzarre!  I\'ve even had a look at my internet settings to see if I\'ve blocked you!
