Offsets with wide arches?

Right, not needing these right now just planning.

I plan on getting some Feed (replica) front and rear arches at some point, front are 25mm wider and the rears are 20mm wider.

If I was getting an offset of 35mm for the wheels, does that now mean I need 10mm and 15mm respectively? I.e. pushing the wheel the relevant distance further out?

Just making sure my brain is still working.

In a word no!

With them offsets and spacers your front wheel would need to come out a further 15mm to look right in the arches and the rears 5mm.

Don\'t forget wheel width affect things to....a 10j rim will sit further out compared to a 9j rim with the same offset.

I wondered that as well. Oh well, if I must Actually thinking about it I think Feed have recommended offsets and stuff on their site for their kit.

Found this on Feed\'s website run through google\'s translator:

Fronts:

One side 25mm wide. Recommendation wheel offset value +35 (with main point processing +24~+22) rim width 9.5J

Rears:

One side 20mm wide. Recommendation wheel offset value +24~±0. Rim width 9.5J

Not sure what it means on the front about main processing point??
