Bit of a flyer as I only saw it on Pistonheads/eBay last night and all being well I\'ll pick it up Sunday, subject to viewing/test drive!

Anyone know this car? A rebuild inc. turbo from RE:Worx sealed the deal for me, as well as the car having all the toys I was after. Sounds like it\'s been well looked after and at £7k I think it\'s a bargain, all things being equal.

This will be my first RWD car, so I\'m desperately hoping it won\'t be raining on Sunday for the 3 hour drive back! :3Confused

Er....buying a rex from a skoda garage that states NO WARRANTY....:Nono!  in my opinion but hey, if there\'s decent history why not.

I\'m sure he used to be a memeber on here I recodnise the car, if its the one I\'m thinking of it was well maintained.

Funny, that was the first thing I picked up on as well.

That, and the fact that there are no decent photos of the bodywork. Lockwood77 - I\'d be very careful with this car. Not saying something\'s wrong with as I don\'t know the car but given that the guy\'s in the trade I\'m a bit surprised to see such a sloppy ad.

The guy works there, it\'s his own car and a private sale hence no warranty from the Skoda garage!

It does have the RE:Worx warranty though. Will give \'em a call just to check on the car.

Could be confused with Nathan\'s old car, bought by Dasilva and sold again I think? I really wanted that one too but couldn\'t get there in time!

eBay ad has twice as many pics, much better ones of the overall car. Thanks for the concern guys, I appreciate your experience, I will certainly do my best to give it a good going over.

Haha, I thought that too! I can only assume there was a race car that looked a bit like this in Japan at some point and they have tried to recreate the graphics of the sponsors - cams would indeed be a strange choice for a Rex!
