On my way home from watching Jimmy Carr live in Maidstone Saturday and lost control of my car in the wet. I use this road twice a day every day and have never even felt a twitch on this corner. When I was loading the car onto the trailer the next day, some guy walking his dog came over to speak to me and told me there\'s an accident there once every week or two over the last 6 months or so. Four people have lost their lives there in the last 5yrs. I\'m absolutely gutted.:( But lucky to walk away with just a few bumps n bruises.

Here\'s how she looked before...

Here\'s where it happened...

Here\'s how she looks now...:(

The car is now back at my house, my mates goign to be coming over this weekend with his old set of wheels so I can get them on the car and get it down his house to jack it up and assess the damage and then I\'ll make my decision on whether to sell or break for parts.:(

Laeeq

Ouch, really sorry to see that mate. Glad you are ok. Is that the road around Wateringbury way, after Teston?

RobbieRX-7

Bad luck fella, we hear it a lot on this forum so no real surprise really. The damage don\'t look to bad though, time for a nice paintjob methinks

d-king

awwwwwwww bloody hell mate thats awful !!!! she looked a real beaut !! sick of this british weather and these cars they just dont get along !! if you do decide to break let me know about the bonnet if you dont mind ? sorry once again i hope she can be fixed

Grub2000

That\'s a sad sight. I really feel for you, must be so gutting.

I hope it can be repaired.

Out of curiosity, do you think traction control may have prevented this happening?

KJ_MC

@ Laeeq - Cheers pal, I\'ll let you know.

@ royal - was between Chart sutton and Boughten Monchelsea

@ robbie - All depends on the outcome this weekend as to whether she gets repaired or not.... but I\'m already getting ideas for the re-spray!

@ d-king - There\'s plenty of bits that would sell like hot cakes so I shouldn\'t have too much trouble making at least some of the money back.

Cheers guy\'s

I honestly don\'t think it would have made any difference, with this roads track record for accidents I think I\'m just another unlucky person to fall victim to it\'s slippery surface.

3 people I know have also lost it on this corner, one rolled it, one in the ditch and one luckily spun it and stayed in the road with nothing coming the other way.

shame mate - I saw that car on the Tunnel run as well, it was a nice motor :(

As others have said, at least your ok and could walk away from it.
