I have had a member contact us with the problem of boost cut after he has changed his air box to a single filter and removed the cat,

On FD\'s there is a trick to stop this, so my question is.

Are there any tricks he can do other than put the cat back in to "fool" the ECU??
All the best Clive

run a FCD - that should help - it will stop the boost cut at .5bar

Not to be a kill joy but if its hitting the Overboost would\'nt it be better to fit a Profect B to try and control the Spike/Creep then you may stand a chance of keeping the Boost in check, i think it would be a better idea to fix the problem rather than take off the Limiter ;)

Out of intrest is it a S4 or S5 T2? i know the S4 had more of a Problem controling the Boost due to the single Button on the waste gate the S5 seemed to work alot better.

Might as well get an ecu.

I wouldn\'t have de-catted unless I had an Apexi or something to go on it.

Other than that though how about having a restrictor plate made to go betwene the midpipe and cat back?

this is a FC we are talking about

or i assume it is based on being in the 2nd gen section

an apexi in a FC is over kill for just a decat and filter :D
