:wave I was on my way back from picking up this:

and i was going south on the M1 through the roadworks section near the beginning. In the third lane, that had been sectioned off and then put onto the other side of the road, on the oncoming traffic bit, i saw three modded RX-7s. Our side of the road was moving faster so i managed to get real close, then caught them just after the return to NSL. One was H8T RX, then there was a white one with blacked-out windows, and a Montego Blue. I waved and got waves back. :Thumbs-up  I would have flashed my hazard lights like one of you did, but i didn\'t know where the switch was! I\'d only owned the car about an hour and a half!

Pretty cool thing to happen, and totally random, for my maiden voyage in the new car. :Viking

As you can see from the ad; its a minter, and fantastic thoughout. I\'d looked at several and this was head and shoulders above anything i\'d seen. No more annoying questions on the \'for sale\' forum. :2Rolleyes

Anyway, what were you coming back from?

Looking forward to meeting some of you guys at the next meet or whatever; anything coming up?

Andy

Quote from: efinisteThat\'s James\' old car isn\'t it? Nice buy mate.

Yup, nicest guy i have ever bought a car from i think. You should have seen his face when i pulled £11k in fifties out of my pocket. He had been asking if i liked it and was serious!

I don\'t think he knew what he had; the first person that saw it was always going to bite his hand off.

It looks like a new car underneath, and the attention to detail and cleanliness throughout is fantastic. Coupled with the new motor and high level of equipment...i couldn\'t say no. I\'ve seen cars that are three years old in worse nick than this.

Oh, and holy **** does it fly!

H8T RX is dave\'s (test valley mot\'s) numberplate now, it\'s on a red car with gold blitz wheels, i\'m sure he will say if he was there or not, unless there was 4 cars and not 3? i\'m confused, it happens easily.

By the way, that is a stunning looking car you have there papercup. :)

andysmee

must be a slightly different HOT RX as Dave was in the Ace Cafe at that point!!!

dandan

hmm must have been mistaken for James\' H8 NOS then I guess.
