Right guys, I\'ve just got the car on the road & taken it for a test drive, all is working good & I\'m well chuffed with the way it feals & sounds......... came back in to the drive & nocked everything off, but the lights didn\'t go back down!!!! thought I might have nocked the button for the pop ups on the dash, so I pressed it & nothing happend so I pressed it again!! all the lights are working fine but they refuse to return to the down position!!!! This is the first time I\'ve had any problems with the pop ups & they came up OK when I turned the lights on first............ Any sujestions on where to start looking????

Cheers

Are your plastic inner wing guards intact? the wiring is easily bust if you have holes worn thru from bigger rims etc. Do they both do nothing?

Haven\'t tried the manual winders as yet... haven\'t had time to do anything else to the car!!!! The inner wings are all in tact as it\'s only ever had 17s on!!

if the button for making them go up and down isnt connected in the circuit they will go up but not come back down, thats the one on the top right corner of the dash, it may be faulty

ah I see..... I had the dash out to pull out the heatere controles the night before!!!! This could be my problem then!!

Id agree with this. It also means the manual winders might not function as they have some kind of cut off as i found out this weekend.

manual winders are mechanical though right?   not electrical, so any electrical cut off wouldn\'t work.

how do you get the switch out to check it?

does it just come out if you lever it, or is there a special way?

It screws into dash from behind so you have to take dash out first mate.

bugger... was afraid of that...

my lights won\'t work either...  the bulbs work fine, but they won\'t pop up or down... when I manually pop them up, in a few days they\'ll pop themselves down again...
